The Morlock Revolt: The Darkside gets a coal powered desklamp

I don’t read blogs. Let me amend that, I dont read many blogs. The reason is that I have really important things to blog about and everyone else can go to hell. But what happens when you take the paid tour through Hell and you see a friend there pounding away at a keyboard? Answer: You ditch the tour and pull up a chair next to him. After all, you most likely will have the cubicle next to him in the near future.

This is precisely where you will find Matt Dawson, creator of the Morlock Revolt. No matter what the issue du jour may be he produces parody that the liberal left has condemned long before his spark of imagination could trigger any of his own flames. After all, in liberal hell, the fire has already been provided courtesy of the bureaucratic arsonists. But Dawson is not concerned with extinguishing the flames. No, he is often looking for anything around him that can exponentially increase the size of the inferno. For him, awareness can only be properly noted when the flame is out of control. It’s genius and slightly dangerous. But he wouldnt have it any other way. For sick right-wingers like myself I tend to beg for gasoline or even kindling; anything to bring good health to the flames. Burn baby burn, salvation lies within…the inferno.

What is odd and exclusively unique is that Dawson can see the world burning around him and rather than tell everyone to put out the fire he indirectly advocates making your own blaze. This technique and approach lies beyond the lines he produces as copy and is wholly representative of his rebuttal. Socialized approach to housing…a disaster that pundits scream about back and forth. Boring. Dawson creates a sing-a-long song instead. Wonderful!

In the case of an extreme emergency, like the Democrat’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, Dawson handles that so easily with grace and humor that the reader is almost convinced he does it in his sleep. That feeling from the audience is not exclusive to the piece listed above but rather every entry by Dawson on The Morlock Revolt.

Duh. No one needs a guitar for the Zombie Apocalypse

Any Conservative or Libertarian should add The Morlock Revolt to their daily reading list. In these trying times those of us who believe in, and fight for, policies and directives based in morality, this is one of the few sites that can help you lighten up. As serious as the issues are that confront us daily there are limited resources that provide the same relief as Dawson’s Morlock Revolt. Myself, as a serious researcher, die hard Constitutionalist, and all around cynic, can find no other suitable retreat.

Peace.

Deceleration areas in recovery mostly liberal enclaves

This is probably a coincidence but it seems that the most progressive American cities were the ones to see deceleration in economic indicators putting them into the negative growth category. Its probably also a coincidence that economically liberalized cities like Dallas saw accelerated growth. Click the text image below to go to the Federal Reserve Report.

Those cities experiencing downward ticks will remain stagnant for the foreseeable future. Once indicators across the board are mostly positive these cities will tag along. A rising bar tab undresses all chicks.

Attack! Free Press and Mark Lloyd (FCC) associate physically attacks cameraman

The left is always on edge. While they push for openness in the media their behavior illustrates they do not support any type transparency. In the video below Jeanette Foreman of Free Press physically assaults a camera man for recording a meeting. According to Georgia’s open meeting laws taping this event is totally legal. Foreman doesn’t like that and takes matters into her own hands. Before the attack board members express their contempt for this rule.

At the start of this blog this was one of our early posts. Considering how influential Free Press and similar groups have become since the appointment of Mark Lloyd as the FCC “Diversity Czar”, its time to revisit this unfortunate but typical behavior of the left.

Mark Lloyd came under fire after his remarks about Hugo Chavez’s “incredible” revolution in Venezuela that largely depended on media cooperation. Those remarks were made at the National Conference for Media Reform in 2008. Jeanette Foreman (the attacker) also attended this conference and even took a minute to pose with Lloyd at the event.

Foreman herself is not only an associate of Free Press but also teamed up with other Free Press associates, Like Betty Yu, to author the “Imagining The (UN)thinkable: Community Media over the next 5 years”. Other co-authors include Alfredo Lopez of the Puerto Rican Socialist Party and Sakura Saunders who is an activist with Corp Watch. That activist group is funded by the Open Society Institute and the Tides Foundation.

The Funding Exchange Media Justice Fund

The report cited above “Imagine the (UN)thinkable” was funded through the Media Justice Fund (Funding Exchange) to the tune of $1.5 million dollars. It was “one of the largest single grants by a major foundation in the emerging social movements known as media justice . According to the findings, Alfredo Lopez (Puerto Rican Socialist Party) has identified a major obstacle in achieving media justice. The problem, according to Lopez, is that the “internet is run by white men”.  Mark Lloyd seems to share Lopez’s opinion. After all, he recognizes that there are some really good white people (in audio below). The soundbite that became popular was Lloyd asking who was going to step down so that other people can have power. The part that has alway been left out is the racial slant he included right before the now famous (but edited) soundbite of others “stepping down”.

Free Press and Dismantling Capitalism

As a flashback, lets not forget what Robert McChesney (Free Press founder) said about dismantling capitalism. He wants it taken apart brick by brick. Lloyd has called for enforcing a regulatory structure that would take away what influential people in the media have rightfully earned. Jeanette Foreman, a member of this group of hardcore leftists, will even physically attack someone if she doesnt like what someone is doing; even if the law allows you to do so and even if it promotes transparency and true “media justice” Is the picture of totalitarianism coming into focus yet?

State Dept: The Redemptive Qualities of Mohammed Atta

The video you are about to see is unedited and presented in its entirety. This is done so that you may fully understand the context. If you have not been following our State Department’s involvement in the Middle East uprisings links are provided at the bottom of the post.

In the video is Dr. Anne Marie Slaughter, then the Director of Policy Planning for the State Department. This address was made October 2, 2010.(pre-recorded 9/30) By this time the State Department had already been made aware that a revolution was planned for Egypt starting in January 2011; a protest likely to turn the Middle East upside-down. So with a revolution just weeks away, that the State Department was aware of, why would a Director of Policy Planning try to relate to youth groups, by expressing the redemptive qualities of Mohammed Atta as an effective “community organizer”?

The Timeline

12/08 The State Department hosted the Alliance for Youth Movements Conference (info in link below)

12/08 State Department receives cable concerning returning attendee. His confiscated notes show a planned democratic uprising/revolution planned for Egypt in Jan. 2011

10/02/10 This video pep talk comes from the Director of Policy Planning, Dr. Anne Marie Slaughter, in which she tells these community organizers in New Zealand at the US Embassy that they have the same “power with” people as Mohammed Atta (leader of the 9/11 attacks). This begins at 4:30. While she gives the disclaimer that 9/11 was “negative” she still proceeds to tell these youth groups that they are community organizers one in the same as Atta.

In the video Slaughter tries to offer insight into the theory that “power over” people (a dictatorship) is different than the “power with people” that community organizers, like them and Atta, have. Of course it is no different; not even in theory. “Community organizers” use their “power with people” to eventually gain “power over” people. It is just an extra step in the process towards the same ends.

Note on the Video: This is my copy. Too many times this Admin has stripped videos on me. The original video from the State Dept may be found here

Quotes from the address

4:3o If you think about 9/11 they proved that Mohammed Atta was the leader of the 19 terrorists who carried out the attack of 9/11. They found that out because he was the only one who was connected with everyone else. That is the power of leadership. Its the power of mobilizing others. Its who is the most interconnected” Keep listening and you will understand global community organizing.

Atta and the “globalists” (as Dr. Slaughter calls these youth activists) have the same qualities. The “negative” 9/11 disclaimer is bogus at best; it was only made so she could move on. She wanted to illustrate just how much of an impact community organizers can have on the world. Its a pep talk that includes citing one of the worlds greatest tragedies in order to help them fully understand their potential. In weeks she would like like a true seer, or even a prophet, when Egypt exploded. Even though she had already been made aware that the revolution was planned at a State Department sponsored event.

Between the lines-The Unfortunate Reality

Was it telling of Dr. Slaughter’s beliefs that her default comparison was to Mohammed Atta? Was she just trying to find a globally recognized revolutionary character? Or was this address specially catered to fit the upcoming Egyptian revolution with the interest to spark the movement globally? We will never know. What we do know is that Dr. Slaughter had confirmed to me that she had in fact left the State Department. I asked her approximately 30 days ago and verified she has since returned to Princeton. But when I asked her “Lets get down to the gravy, what was up with the Mohammed Atta comment to the New Zealand youth groups” the conversation fell silent. And this is precisely why the issue must be addressed. This borders on sedition. And she is now on my shit list along with Nathan J Brown of the Carnegie Endowment. I hope they are ready. After all, Im just getting started.

And now this; another piece in the puzzle.

Save Biomass before everyone finds out it doesnt work: 25×25, CAP, Green for All, AFT, etc

Chris Clayton has posted an article at DTN Progressive Farmer outlining the push back from 25×25.org on cuts to renewable energy. The specific focus is on Biomass and it is interesting to see these cuts challenged now. Recently Iwatch released a video detailing how inconvenient Biomass is; seeing it couldn’t meet the regulations set by the EPA. (Video below) But wait, there’s more! Act now and you can find out just who exactly 25×25.org really is. Hint: Center for American Progress, General Motors, and The Union for Concerned Scientists. What is more interesting is that their “founding documents” were hosted (tucked away) on one of the AFT’s websites. That was exposed in our post on 1/17/11 when they accidentally left their parent directory open. Whoops. Check that out, its hysterical. Plus it shows the alliance between the AFT (Teachers Union), Green for All, Ella Baker Center, Center for American Progress, etc on the Green Jobs Act that lead to these subsidies.

From the Progressive Farmer Article (who are these losers?)

The gutting of funds for some key renewable energy programs by the House Appropriations Subcommittee for Agriculture has drawn the ire of the 25x’25 Alliance, which called the proposed budget cuts “draconian.”

…no funds would be spent next year for the Biomass Crop Assistance Program.

Rightly so. It isnt working.

The bill also would stop all funds for the Rural Energy for America Program. REAP is a program Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack tapped to help establish blender pumps for higher blends of ethanol.

Please, lets not start on Tom Vilsack. He started Cap and Trade with “water credits” for Chesapeake Bay through Obama’s Executive Order 13508. The EPA and USDA claimed it would improve the local economy. When asked if they did an economic impact study they said “no” ; the executive order “doesnt require” us to do one…and “we havent done one”. Seriously, check it out here. (No one has mentioned it and its been a year). Wait, isnt Vilsack that dude that fired Shirley Sherrod prematurely after Beck “edit raped” Breitbart?
