Court Rules Obama Recess Appointments Unconstitutional; Landmark Legal Victory

Nationally syndicated talk show host Mark Levin has landed himself and his organization, Landmark Legal Foundation, a huge success today. As the Washington Times reports “The judges ruled that the appointments Mr. Obama made to the National Labor Relations Board are illegal, and the board no longer has a quorum to operate.”

Landmark’s complaint against President Obama was pretty straightforward; he stepped outside of his power when making what he thought were legitimate “recess” appointments. The court siding with Landmark Legal is a blow to the White House on two different fronts…

Not only are these appointments now null and void but they also have to deal with the embarrassment of President Obama’s actions. Since the media has touted his expertise on the Constitution since at least 2007 the voting public now must wonder if the President is either not the expert they claim he is, or if he knowingly acted this way hoping to get away with the appointments. Incompetent or dishonest? Take your pick liberal media!

N. Korean test Rocket pulled out of ocean

Remember North Korea’s latest failed test launch for their soon-to-be armed with nuclear warhead missiles? Well, the missile made it a few hundred feet over the ocean and then, just like all of North Korean society, stopped working. The South has been trolling the ocean looking for the pieces and finally found them and hauled them up to be analyzed.

Check out the post on Conservative Report Online (CRO) regarding this venture and the photos and analysis from Arms Control Wonk Jeffrey Lewis. As Lewis correctly states, the analysis couldnt be complete and/or accurate without seeing the engine the North Koreans were using. The first batch of photos did not include pics of the engine and caused a stir fry of ridiculousness.

Check it out!!

Benghazi photos shows American likely killed in embassy van

This post has been removed. Pictures were from prior attack in Benghazi. Source that sent them either accidentally sent the wrong ones or did it intentionally. Upon receiving them exif data was extracted and confirmed to GPS location as well as time and date. However, it appears now that that has been altered. I shouldve taken the time to check all the photos currently published before posting them here. Special thanks to Twitter user Erik Gumbel for pointing this out to me and showing me the originals. I am eternally grateful and owe him big time!

Benghazi Emails from embassy attack on September 11

Reuters first reported that they had obtained emails that clearly showed that the State Department was in fact aware that their embassy in Benghazi was under attack on September 11 of this year. If you have been following this closely (and if you are here you probably have) then you dont need no stinking news commentary; you just want the emails. Well here they are. More will be released tomorrow and Friday. (Clicking link or pic brings you to the emails)

“…the diplomatic mission is under attack.” (emphasis mine)

“Stop Snitchin” features Carmelo Anthony, Obama invitee to “NBA Heroes” Fundraiser

**Hat tip to Drudge Report for blasting this out there, ABC Denver (here), and The Weekly Standard

White House events always draw a lot of attention. Most of that attention is focused on the guest list. Fans and supporters of President Obama will fawn over the prestigious guests while his opponents will find and exploit the questionable attendees. While critics slammed  the Obama Administration for inviting Common [Sense] for his comments about George W. Bush (“burn a Bush” and “fuck Bush”) they missed other lyrics that should’ve been equally concerning. However, today they seem to be a little more fitting.

On the DJ Skee and Nu Jersey Devil mixtape “You Know What it is Vol. 3″ Common [Sense] does the intro to The Game’s track “Where I’m from”. While shouting out to Chicago he says “Chicago to Compton, gangbanging is the revolution.” that appears to have been recorded over the phone; not uncommon for artists on mixtapes to do. That can be heard here in the preview of the track. (click “preview” button on right)

And now, from the Weekly Standard blog:

This evening in New York City, President Obama will be fundraising with “NBA heroes,” according to his spokesman. Those “heroes” include Michael Jordan (who is also a failed baseball player), Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and, perhaps most interestingly, Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony helped make the pro-drugs YouTube video called “Stop Snitchin.”

End Notes on The White House’s own Gangbanging Revolution

> Smacking down your homie when you feel they are violating (i.e. suing Arizona over SB 1070)

> Running guns like a boss (Fast and Furious)

> Snatching that paper, even from the elderly ($500+ Billion taken from Medicare)

> Have a crew of little weasels that can show up and smash things (OWS)

Shall I keep going?

HOT MIC: Obama and Sarkozy caught out Trashing Israel at G20-”Liar”!

"I have to deal with him everyday" - Barack Obama 11/7/11

By now you would think professional sophists would learn to manage the small details of their trade but you would also be wrong. As Ynet has reported microphones were “accidentally” left on at a meeting at the G20. The “hot mic” picked up some interesting conversation that was meant to be private.

The private conversation begins innocently enough with President Obama “criticizing Sarkozy for not having warned him that France would be voting in favor of the Palestinian membership” even though Washington had disapproved of the measure. But then it gets juicy when the true feelings toward B.B. Netanyahu are expressed in what Sarkozy and Obama thought was an off-the-record private conversation.

According to Ynet:

The conversation then drifted to Netanyahu, at which time Sarkozy declared: “I cannot stand him. He is a liar.” According to the report, Obama replied: “You’re fed up with him, but I have to deal with him every day!”

Well, if that is how President Obama feels then maybe he should consult the State Department and tell them to halt certain programs. Earlier today the State Department announced that Hannah Rosenthal, the Department of State’s Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism , would be holding talks to help combat the global trend in the rise of Ant-Semitism. This topic is being addressed under the State Department’s “Conversations with America” program. So if the President is so perturbed with Netanyahu and Israel then why bother? After all, the DNC and the White House have thrown their support behind the Occupy Wall Street movement which has shown itself to be ant-semitic at its core. This also isnt the first time the feelings of the White House have contradicted State Department programs. Readers of this blog will remember the Sudan and the Child Soldier waiver from the White House and the State Department’s stance against the issue. AKA the Big Flop
